Fence Strips

Fence strips are used for fencing and partitioning spaces (yards, terraces, passages...).

They are made from 0.50mm or 0.55mm thick sheet, uncolored or colored. The strip length is by choice (within reasonable limits!).

Thanks to the appropriate profile design, the strip is very strong, although made from the same sheet used for gutters.

Also, this design allows simple and secure installation of the strip on the fence support profile. Installation is done with sheet metal screws (with or without drill bit at the tip) or pop rivets.

The strip width is 69mm. The spacing between strips is arbitrary, depending on what you want to achieve. Based on our experience, the best effect is achieved when the spacing between strips is 42mm. In practice, a spacing of 40mm is most often used (the template is a regular rectangular tube 20x40mm). The strips in the pictures are made with this spacing, resulting in a strip consumption of 9 pieces per meter of fence length.

When a fence panel is formed, the upper end of the strips (top) can be covered with sheet bent in a 'U' shape (cap), which serves to protect against potential accidental injuries from sharp profile edges.

Fence strips have numerous advantages over similar products of the same type, but made from other materials. Fence maintenance is minimal (for the strips themselves there is practically none). More attention should be paid to good preparation and protection of the structure that will support them, to bring it to the level of durability of the strips themselves.

Strips (like gutters) from colored K&J&G sheet should last a minimum of 30 years.
